The InspHERation Initiative is a heartfelt project created to celebrate the strength, resilience, and beauty of women who have faced incredibly difficult times. It is an opportunity for women to embrace their journey of transformation and see themselves through a lens of empowerment. Through the power of a makeover and a professional photoshoot, we aim to honor and uplift those who have navigated personal struggles, loss, illness or adversity.
Every month, one woman will be gifted a complete makeover including a hair make over at Salon Extraordinaire, a pampering spa experience at Sinzinani Spa and a styled glamour portrait session at Marissa May Photography with hair styling and make up provided by Totally Gorgeous Makeup Artistry and a designer dress rental from La vie en Fleur.
This initiative is a reminder that no matter the hardships faced, each woman deserves to feel valued, seen, and celebrated. It is a chance to reflect on the progress made, to honour their personal journey, and to rediscover their confidence, all while being supported by a community of women who truly understand the power of resilience.
The InspHERation Initiative isn’t just about the transformation seen in the photos—it’s about the transformation felt in the heart. It’s about recognizing that every woman has a story worth sharing, a beauty that radiates from within, and a future full of possibility.

By nominating someone for the Inspheration Initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
– Nominee Requirements: The nominee must be a woman who has gone through a difficult life experience or challenge, such as personal loss, illness, trauma, or any other significant hardship.
– Nomination Age: Nominees must be at least 18 years of age.
– Residency: Nominees must reside in Johannesburg or surrounding areas
– Self-Nominations: The initiative primarily accepts nominations from third parties (friends, family, or colleagues). You cannot nominate yourself.
2.Nomination Process
– Submission Requirements: To nominate someone, the nominator must complete the official nomination form, providing detailed information about the nominee’s personal story, the challenges they have faced, and why they deserve to be part of the Inspheration Initiative.
– Nomination Deadline: Nominations can be submitted at any time. However, only nominations submitted between the 21st of the previous month and the 19th of the current month will be reviewed, and a nominee will be selected on the 20th of each month.
– Resubmission: If your nominee is not selected, you are welcome to resubmit their nomination in subsequent months.
– Notification: Once selected, the nominee will be contacted directly by the organizer via phone or email to confirm their participation in the photoshoot.
3. Photoshoot Details
– Scheduling: The selected nominees will be offered a scheduled date for their makeover and photoshoot. All attempts will be made to accommodate the nominee’s availability, but the final schedule is subject to the organizer’s discretion.
4. Use of Photos
– Permission to Use Images: By participating in the Inspheration Initiative, the nominee grants the sponsors and Tiny Cuddles Photography the right to take photographs of the nominee during the photoshoot, and to use, publish, and display these images for marketing, advertising, social media, and promotional purposes.
– No Compensation for Images: The nominee understands and agrees that no compensation or royalties will be provided for the use of their images. The images may be used for the purpose of promoting the Inspheration Initiative, its partners, or for any future campaigns related to the initiative.
– Distribution of Images: The nominee will receive a set of edited photos for personal use. The organizer will retain the rights to the original images, including any editing or alterations made.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
– Personal Information: The organizer will collect personal information from nominators and nominees solely for the purpose of administering the Inspheration Initiative. All data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
– Privacy of Nominee’s Story: The nominee’s personal story of resilience and hardship may be shared publicly in association with the photoshoot, but will be done with the utmost respect for the nominee’s privacy and dignity. The nominee will have the opportunity to approve any written content before it is used.
6. Agreement
– By submitting a nomination or participating in the Inspheration Initiative, all nominators and nominees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
