THE PROCESS
As a photographer, my focus is on discovering and capturing the essence of your inner beauty.
Our style is simple and classic and we work with you to determine the look and feel of your shoot. For many women, the idea of being photographed is quite daunting but I'll be there to guide you every step of the way. Expect a personal, rewarding, luxurious experience, and receive beautiful and unique fine art portraits that you will cherish forever.
Session Design Consultation
Let's bring your dream photoshoot to life! All boudoir sessions are tailored specifically to you, and include a consultation session with Marissa where she will begin planning your dream shoot. We will discuss ideas on posing, lighting, wardrobe, and style. We will work closely with you to discover your ideas and expectations to make sure that your vision becomes a reality. Once your session is booked, we will send you a Boudoir Guide with plenty of tips on how to prepare for your photo session.
Wardrobe
A beautiful selection luxurious silks, glamorous beaded fabric, lace and tule is provided for your styling. We also have a selection of bodysuits, bodycon dresses, lace dresses, crop tops and jewellery. Once we have had our pre-shoot consultation, we will decide if you need to bring any specific outfits. Our styled sessions also include a luxury rental gown for that extra wow factor.
Styling
Professional hair and makeup artistry is recommended for stunning portraits and is included in your package, so you can sit back and relax before your glamour session begins. Whether you prefer a natural or more dramatic look, our stylist will be available throughout your shoot to give you your ideal look and provide touch-ups and style changes. Your session is never rushed as we only book one client a day, which allows us freedom to spend the time needed to perfect each set up and help you make the most out of your shoot. We have a selection of flowers, fabrics, headpieces and studio props to add an additional touch of styling where necessary.
Retouching
Professional photo retouching is included in your session. We specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing, and are able to enhance your images to your liking. It’s important to note, that we are not here to change you into someone you're not. We are passionate about creating stunning images that celebrate your individuality and one-of-a-kind beauty. We will take your guidance on the style of retouching you prefer whether that is more natural or more fine art style.
