Tiny Cuddles is a multi-award-winning photography studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa and run by passionate mother and daughter team, Estelle and Marissa.  We specialize in styled maternity, newborn and motherhood sessions that empower women and celebrate the beauty of pregnancy, the joy of parenthood and the special bond between mother and child.

The STUDIO

We are very excited about our newly revamped natural light studio. We offer studio sessions by appointment only as all of our newborn sessions are planned in advance.

WHAT WE OFFER

MATERNITY SESSIONS

We love work in a variety of styles from simple and elegant to dramatic and glamorous. We offer an all inclusive service with, styling, make-up and wardrobe. Our maternity sessions are aimed at celebrating your body and the beautiful journey you are in.

NEWBORN SESSIONS

Our natural-light studio is specifically set up for newborn sessions and we absolutely adore creating beautiful styled sets for our sessions. We pride ourselves in creating a calming and relaxing experience for new parents. We also offer in-home sessions with the same professinal ``studio`` look in the final images.

BABY MILESTONES

Our milestone sessions are the perfect way to capture your baby's personality. They can usually sit on their own and have an adorable variety of expressions. These sessions are done from 6-9 months and this is also the perfect time to capture intimate motherhood portraits.

Booking

Our schedule is usually booked up 2-3 months in advance and we encourage clients to book early to avoid disappointment. We suggest booking your maternity sessions when you are about 20 weeks and your newborn sessions when you are in your 30 weeks. Most of our clients end up booking our combo package which should be done any time after your first trimester.

Maternity Sessions

Our maternity shoots are done any time from 30 to 34 weeks. Earlier is always better so we can schedule your shoot as soon as your bump is showing nicely. Shoots can be done on location or in studio. We specialize in studio fine art and styled maternity session but are also happy do more casual location sessions. We also offer tasteful nude and body art options for the more daring ladies and firmly believe that all women should feel empowered to celebrate the beauty of their own pregnancy.

Posed Newborn Sessions

Our posed sessions are done at our studio or in your home and includes the use of our hand selected props. We boast a beautiful range of imported wools, headbands and knits and also offer composite and digital backgrounds for clients that have specific themes in mind. Newborn sessions have to take place within the first 14 days after your baby's birth, preferably between day 5-10. You can choose to have baby photographed alone or with parents and siblings.

Milestone Sessions

Milestone sessions, or what we refer to as ``sitter`` sessions are done when your baby can sit unsupported and is best booked when your baby is about 3 months old. You can choose to have your baby photographed by themselves or get pampered and dolled up for motherhood and family portraits. We also offer beautiful, fine art motherhood and breastfeeding portraits.
